Your selection process

If you have applied as an on-call staff member, we will invite you—together with many other applicants—to an assessment round at our company. During the approximately 1.5 hours you should plan for this, we will introduce you to our Spieleland and your future responsibilities.

If you would like to work as a seasonal employee in our Spieleland, we will invite you to an interview via Teams (online). Please plan around 30–45 minutes so we can present the Spieleland and your tasks.

In both cases, you are welcome to ask questions at any time. After the assessment round or interview, we will get back to you and let you know whether you will soon be supporting us in the Spieleland!

We were impressed by your application and would first like to invite you to an initial interview to get to know you better. Feel free to bring along any questions you may have about us or the role. If the interview goes well and you are still interested in becoming part of Ravensburger, we will arrange a trial day. During this day, you will get your first insight into our daily work, meet your future colleagues and your supervisor. If we still have questions regarding your application documents, we may first arrange a short phone call to clarify them. If your application gives us the impression that you could be a good fit, we will invite you to an initial interview at our company. Please feel free to bring any questions you may have about us or the position. The interview always includes someone from HR and your future supervisor. If we are a good match and you are still interested in contributing to our shared success, we will schedule a second interview, which will also include a member of your future team. Often, the second interview includes a short presentation of a task that you will receive in advance. After the second interview, we will contact you by phone—and ideally, you will be starting with us very soon!

Once we have reviewed your documents and believe you could be a good fit for the Ravensburger family, a member of our HR team will contact you by phone to clarify any initial questions and general conditions. After that, we will invite you to an interview at the store you applied for. There, we primarily want to get to know you better, while you will have the opportunity to see the store, meet the local team, and ask your questions. After the interview, we will contact you promptly by phone—and we look forward to welcoming you to our store soon!

There’s no need to worry, as the focus is primarily on you and your personality. The best approach is simply to be yourself that’s exactly how we want to meet you. Depending on the apprenticeship, a trial workday may follow.

Here too, you can stay completely relaxed. You won’t be given any tasks that you can’t handle. Instead, the goal is for you to realistically experience what your daily work could look like, while also allowing us to get to know you better. If everything is a good fit in the end,

we will contact you by phone with an offer for an apprenticeship position. And if you are still excited about becoming part of Ravensburger, you will start your training with us in the coming year.
