Working closely with game authors, you develop and shape new concepts from the very first idea through prototypes all the way to the final product. Your passion for games truly comes to life here: playtesting continues until the core mechanics feel just right. In the area of Trading Card Games, you also contribute long‑term to the success of Disney Lorcana. Set by set, you develop new game mechanics, think them through within the overall system, and ensure through intensive testing that they feel coherent, balanced, and genuinely exciting for players.

The world of puzzles is endlessly inspiring. Whether it’s developing new designs or formats for our 2D puzzles, this role calls for a strong sense of trends and aesthetics. You keep a close eye on market developments and gain valuable insights from Puzzle World, our online platform for true puzzle fans. For our 3D puzzles – manufactured from plastic using injection‑molding technology at our plant in the Czech Republic – you define new models such as vehicles or iconic buildings. You develop the right market positioning strategy and guide each idea from the initial concept through to the finished product.

Our educationally valuable books range from first picture books for toddlers and sturdy board books, to the well‑known Wieso‑Weshalb‑Warum non‑fiction series, and fiction for children, teenagers, and NA/YA readers. To enrich the learning experience, we combine books with electronic components such as our tiptoi® pen. As an editor, you are responsible for reading and evaluating manuscripts, supporting authors, and bringing book ideas to life – from text and illustrations to graphic design and layout. You work with great passion and attention to detail, collaborating closely with design and production to create books that truly make a difference.

Whether you are working on games, puzzles, or books – your technical expertise is essential. As a Technical Product Developer, you translate creative ideas into high‑quality, tangible products with dedication and care. You act as a vital link between editorial teams and manufacturing, production, and process engineering. You develop prototypes, test different materials, and ensure quality, durability, and sustainability. In this demanding role, you can always rely on your team – because we are a strong community that enjoys exploring new paths together and trying out new ideas.

As a designer, you give our products a face – bringing them to life through illustrations, graphics, and imagery. You consider questions such as: Are the illustrations in the book engaging for children? Are the symbols in the instructions easy to understand? Which motifs truly resonate with the target audience? With a keen eye for detail, you translate our high standards into outstanding design results and help create products that inspire across generations.
